Psychotherapy for Adults (18+)
Seeking help for personal issues can be a daunting task, but it also can be rewarding and empowering. You may be seeking therapy with a specific issue in mind, or you may be looking for a general increase in well-being. Having gone through my own therapeutic journey as a client, I have experienced the benefits of being able to explore my issues in a completely accepting, empathetic and non-judgmental space. Through psychotherapy I achieved real change.
As a qualified integrative psychotherapist my work is informed by multiple therapeutic modalities including CBT, psychodynamic therapy, person centred therapy and existential therapy. I believe every client is unique and I work to tailor an approach that is right for each individual. I believe the therapeutic relationship is built of confidentiality, trust, empathy and understanding. You may already have an understanding of your own therapeutic needs and preferences. I believe that each client is the expert on themselves, and should have full autonomy over their therapeutic choices. As human beings we are always changing and growing and our needs can change over time. Together we can set goals and adjust the therapeutic approach over time to suit your needs.
